The current revision of the manual is 24.02 and shall be used for all FGCCFL tournaments. An amendment form and beginners’ PO script are also available.

These legislation templates were released in November 2022 and are to be used at all FGCCFL tournaments in or after the 2022-2023 competition year. All earlier versions should be discarded.

2023-2024 FGCCFL Membership closes on September 23.

Membership fees are $50.00 for FGCCFL. Once again this year, the League will cover member schools’ NCFL dues.

HOSTING INCENTIVE: Schools that commit to hosting a tournament by September 1 will pay only $25.00 in League dues.

Membership in FGCCFL is open to all public, private, and parochial schools with students in grades 9-12 (or any subset thereof) within the Diocese of St. Petersburg-Tampa or the Diocese of Venice. This region corresponds to the counties of Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Sarasota.

Schools wishing to join the League must complete and submit both the FGCCFL membership form and the NCFL data card. A principal’s signature is required on both forms. Please print the first two forms below, fill them out completely (including required signatures), scan to PDF, and attach to an email to Jym Froelich, FGCCFL President <>. Additionally, please review the Membership Agreement below and keep a copy for your records.

Fees are due at the same time as the paperwork. Schools may pay via PayPal or school check (made payable to FGCCFL). Checks may be presented at either of the September tournaments or mailed to Jym Froelich at the address printed in the invoice below.

About the League

Representing the entire West Coast of Florida, from the Panhandle to Naples, FGCCFL is a high school speech and debate league preparing students for the challenges inherent in competitive interscholastic forensics. Hosting several local tournaments as well as a Grand Finals Qualifier for the NCFL National Tournament, FGCCFL strives for excellence in academics and youth sportsmanship.
