The invitation for the 2020 FGCCFL Grand Finals, to be held February 28 (Debate and Congress) and February 29 (all events) at Osceola High School in St. Petersburg, has been posted to the tournament’s Tabroom site and below:
The registration deadline for this tournament is February 10.
Tournament invitations for the remaining local tournaments of the FGCCFL seasons have been posted to Tabroom and are available here.
We will offer Program Oral Interpretation and Informative Speaking at these tournaments to help students prepare for the NSDA District Tournament in March.
However, competing in POI and INF does not count toward Grand Finals eligibility. (UPDATE: POI and INF will count toward Grand Finals eligibility.)
REMEMBER: To be eligible for Grand Finals, each school must participate in at least TWO FGCCFL tournaments during the season, and each student must compete in all rounds of at least ONE FGCCFL tournament.
The invitation for the December 7 FGCCFL All Events tournament at Newsome High School is now available on Tabroom and below.
The invitation for the November 9 FGCCFL All Events tournament at Strawberry Crest High School is now available on Tabroom and below.
The invitation for the October 12 FGCCFL All Events tournament at Southeast High School in Bradenton (previously posted on Tabroom) is now available here.
The invitation for the September 28 All Events tournament at Lakewood Ranch has been posted.
The fall open Congress tournament and FGCCFL coaches’ meeting will be held Saturday, September 7 at Hillsborough High School in Tampa.
Registration and legislation are due Friday, August 30. Schools may register on Tabroom or via email (for this tournament only). Please see the invitation (linked above) for more information.
Coaches who are attending the meeting but whose schools are not bringing students to compete should RSVP to Dr. Terri St. John by August 31.
